February 7 question:
February 7 question:
What turns you off when visiting an author's website/blog? Lack of information? A drone of negativity? Little mention of author's books? Constant mention of books? All of the above makes me click out of the website. I leave when it is difficult to navigate to the page I want to see or to figure out where the comment box is located.

FEBRUARY 28 ON THE RECIPE AND READS SERIES,

If you are a gardener, you might appreciate my updated version of my little guide on growing a vegetable garden. After perusing so many choices, I finally chose this version for a new cover!

Toilet paper? Well, now I have to know.
I keep hearing about Substack but not on it yet.
I'm like Alex. I'm not on it yet either. I don't have time to post on the sites I'm already on except for my blog.
Hi,
I am so happy that I can comment on your blog. I prefer your blog. I don't understand Substack. It is confusing for me.
Good luck with all you've got planned in February.
Take care and have a lovely month.
Shalom shalom
Your book on vegetable gardening is tempting. What planting zone do you live in?
I didn't know you wrote gardening books! Very cool! I love to garden, though I confess I've struggled since moving to southern Arizona. I've gardened in at least 4 other distinct climates, and this one is the trickiest yet.
Happy IWSG Day!
Yes, Diane, toilet paper. Here's a link to an article I wrote about it on my Garden for Eatin' blog spot. GT made a video of it too, but I have no idea where that is! https://thegardenforeatin.blogspot.com/search/label/toilet%20paper
To Alex, Natalie and Pat, It is a lot of pressure, brought on myself, to think of something to write every week, but I used to write on my blog every week with no problem. I'm just not sure what reader audience I want to attract. Authors or readers? I'm floundering on having a platform. That's what happens when you write many genres. Confusing for visitors to know what to expect from me.
Pat--I like my blog too and understand it's hard to navigate Substack.
The other problem is I get caught up reading everyone else's articles! So many articles, so little time.
Thanks for stopping by.
Melissa, we are zone 5 in Michigan. What zone are you in? It's a quick read with lots of tips collected over years and years and years of gardening. 99 cents
Hi Janet, this is the only gardening book I have written based on my blog--the Garden for Eatin' which I have neglected posting to for years...Sounds like you could produce a garden book for gardening in each one of your 4 locations!!
We had a learning curve in FL. Very different than Michigan gardening for sure. Good luck with your Arizona garden!!
You hit the nail on the head of annoying website stuff! I am definitely being worn out by negativity. There's enough of that in the world.
Checking out the gardening book!
I couldn't find the link, but I'll check on Amazon.
Love your cover! How is Gardener Ted doing;)
