Video: Christmas in St. Augustine

Hello and welcome to the J.Q. Rose blog.

My DH and I shared the gift of travel from Santa this year. We visited historic St. Augustine, Florida, located on the east coast of the Sunshine State.

Flagler College, St. Augustine, Florida
We discovered the magic, beauty, and history of the city's tapestry woven together from the threads of many cultures.

In the video below, you can find out about this amazing place which celebrates its 450th birthday in 2015. Come along and hop on the Old Town Trolley with us. It'll be a great ride!

Hi Roseanne, This was our third trip to the city over many years. We took the horse and carriage ride on our first visit....when we were newlyweds. And we had a wonderful guide. Immediately fell in love with St. A. Wonderful memories there.

Hi MM--Thanks for watching! I used Power Point for the first time. What a learning curve. But glad I tried it. Wish I had Owen to do the narration!!

Hi Helena, Thank you. It was a great experience. I wish I could've taken a great shot of the night lights. It's almost like being in Disney World when first seeing the city lighted up like that.

Hi Anna, thanks so much for stopping in. Armchair travel is a good way to experience new places too. Glad I could bring you into our visit to this beautiful place.

A chocolate tour sounds like fun, especially if they share samples. : )

Suzanne, the samples were delicious! 5 of them...included white, dark, their fudge and artisan chocolate (fancy word for expensive, but oh so good!) Check out the other post on the tour.
