Tanja, thanks so much for guesting on my blog. Knowing this salad was shared originally to promote peace makes it very special to me. This is the season we focus to find "peace on earth."--although it should be a year round goal.
sounds delicious. Hi Tanja, thanks for sharing with us.
Now this sounds like a salad I can really get my teeth into. LOL Love all the ingredients and they make a wonderful complement to a meal.
I hope the anthology does justice to Karen's memory. She is not forgotten, and my prayers are still with her family.
PD
I'm a huge salad lover, but this was new to me. It sounds delicious though, and to think it helped promote peace... what a lovely sentiment.
Tanja, your book cover is quite beautiful.
Mmmmm. Sounds delicious. Can't wait to try it. Thanks for sharing.

Mmm... this sounds yummy! I'm a huge veggie fan, so it really appeals to me. And I think adding the honey in there would make it palatable to my toddlers as well. I love that it was made for a sort of peace offering/symbol - what a great idea. Thank you for sharing!
JQ thank you for putting all the names of the stories on here. I also contributed. Great post.
Tanja leave it to you to make a salad for peace. I'm going to try this salad. I like the dressing.
Hello everyone - what a day this has been... (it's 5.15pm here). And the icing on the cake is finding all these fine comments here. Thank you. I'm lucky that my kids like raw vegetables, so I try and incorporate as many of them as I can in meals, or as snacks.
I'm always looking for new veggie dishes for my Monday night writers' group supper, and this salad looks perfect. I love the mix of ingredients in the dressing and can't wait to try it. I also love the 'Rainbow' in the title, as much about the salad's colorful components as about the rainbow of nations, religions, and cultures in this world. Nicely done, Tanja!
A recipe that doesn't sound too complicated for me! I can't wait to put this together!
I'm always looking for a dish to use up the veggies in our garden. This will definitely be on my table this summer. Mmmmm....
Lovely healthy recipe, Tanja! J Q - thanks for mentioning all the names.
